Maps from, Customized Digital Maps

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U is the owner of the MAPSFROM trademark and the web page www.mapsfrom.com.

The electronic products supplied by GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U or you choose to download from our internet window to your personal computer or any other suitable machine are the property of GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U. with whom you have a non-exclusive and non-transferable licensing contract. This licensing contract entitles you to use the products. GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U however reserves all the rights not expressly transmitted in this contract.

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U grants the Client license to use the contracted maps and obliges the client to pay the quantity stipulated in the manner and terms specified on the web page and in the offer provided by GRAND ATLAS S.L.U, payment that constitutes an essential condition to obtain the rights of use in the terms laid down in this contract.

The maps protected by this licensing contract, any original reproductions of these, any partial or total copy made by GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U or by the Client or any other person, the legal rights of copying, the patents, the trademarks, commercial secrets and any other intellectual property right, belong to GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U.

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U guarantees the Client against claims from third parties as regards the property or royalties from the maps referred to in this contract. In this event, the Client will provide written notification to GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U so they can take appropriate action. If, as a result of a claim of this nature, the Client cannot use the vector maps, GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U will replace the maps with others that meet the technical requirements and specifications.

The Client accepts and recognizes the maps in the license are commercial secrets of GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U. as is all the information or documentation provided and identified as confidential. Consequently, it must be handled as work protected by property rights according to the regulations of the code for intellectual property and international agreements.

The Client can digitally modify the maps and make as many printed copies as they like. They can also include the maps on web pages, TV, multimedia products or in any software, provided the maps are viewed as an image and cannot be edited, manipulated or extracted in an editable vector format and used for other purposes. The use in bulk of files for the edition of a geographical atlas requires prior authorization.
The Client can never market or assign the files of the digital maps to third parties for free, or layers or parts extracted from these, or modified or updated versions in any type of editable vector format.

The Client agrees to not divulge information supplied to them by GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U identified as confidential, with the exception of information that is public knowledge.

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U will not be held responsible for direct or indirect or fortuitous losses after use or the inability to use the files. The Client is solely responsible for the use of the files and the use they make of them in accordance with the terms of this license of use.

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U reserves the right to modify the price of the products and services offered on its web page unilaterally and guarantees the price in force as published when the order is made.

The Client exonerates GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U of any responsibility as regards the commercial use, suitability, reliability and accuracy of the cartography and as a result any guarantee for these concerns is expressly excluded. GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U will never be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage derived from their use. The maps will be supplied "as they are" and " with all their defects". The Client accepts the risk of using them. It is possible local legislation grants you greater rights that this contract cannot modify. As far as the law will permit, we exclude any explicit guarantee and condition.

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U will not respond for interruptions in electricity services or communications that prevent the users from using the services on offer.

The contract and its license submitted to the Client cannot be transferred or sublicensed by the cilent to any third party without prior written authorization from GRAND ATLAS S.L.U.

This contract will come into effect from the date of the reception of the maps by the Client and will remain in force until its settlement.

GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U can modify this contract without prior notification. If major changes are made to the contract, they will be notified at least 30 days before the changes come into effect. If you are not in agreement with the modification, you can cancel and stop using the service before the change comes into force. Any outstanding payment must be credited to the current account of GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U in a maximum term of five (5) working days. If you continue to use the service, its use will be governed by the modifed contract from that moment on.
Similarly we can cancel or suspend the service or part of the service at any time and for any reason without prior notification if you infringe the terms of this contract. In this case, your right to use the service will end immediately. The cancellation of the service does not change your obligation to pay all the charges stipulated in your bills.

The modifications or cancellations that could occur in the contract while it is in force must always be given in writing.
By GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U : By means of the publication of these on the web page of GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U or by means of a message to the email address provided by the client when registering for the service.
By the client : By means of written notification to the email address provided on the web page of GRAND ATLAS GLOBE S.L.U.

The parties expressly relinquish the jurisdiction of their address and submit to the jurisdiction of the Judges and Courts of Donostia-San Sebastian, and they expressly declare that anything not envisaged in this contract is governed by that which is laid down in the Civil Code as appropriate.
